Q: Do you offer on-location corporate photography services or do we have to come to you?
A: To meet the hectic schedules of today’s busy executives, we provide an on-location corporate photography studio that comes to your office or home. Having an on-location corporate headshot allows you to stay working and productive right up until the photo shoot and removes the hassle and nightmare of sitting in traffic.
Q: Why do I need a professional business portrait?
A: A professional business portrait lends credibility and inspires confidence and trust in you, your company, and the services you offer your customers. For job seekers, having a professional headshot for your Linkedin Profile can also help convince prospective employers, that you’re the right candidate for the job.
Q: When it comes to corporate headshots, what are my options?
A: Most corporate headshots are either photographed against a traditional seamless backdrop or done as an environmental portrait.
Q: What colors do you offer for traditional portrait backdrops?
A: We have many portrait backdrop options to choose from. Some of our most popular color requests are: Gray, Light Gray, Black, White, Dark Green, Brown, Blue, Light Blue. If your company has a specific backdrop request that we don’t have, we can have it ordered, in time for your photo shoot.
Q: What is an environmental portrait?
A: An environmental portrait doesn’t necessarily man you’re out hiking in the woods. In the business world, environmental portraits are often taken in the office environment, lobby, outside of the company building, or even on the rooftop.
Q: How quickly will I get my images back?
A: We offer on-site review of your portraits, and 24 hour turnaround on your online proofing gallery. Same day rush service is also available.
Q: How much does a corporate headshot cost and why don’t photographers list prices on their websites?
A: Corporate Headshot prices are based upon a variety of factors, primarily the number of individuals being photographed that day and how the client is going to use their images. Each individual and company’s needs are different. Most individuals and small companies only need a corporate headshot for their Linkedin profile or website bio, while other companies need to use their heashots in multiple locations, such as national ad campaigns, annual reports, publications and press releases.
Q: Do you offer discounts for multiple individuals.
A: Yes, having just one extra person photographed that day, gets you a discount. The greater the number of individuals being photographed that day, the better the price per person.
Q: Do you offer group photos?
A: Yes, having a team photo taken when you’re all in the office is a great idea, and its one of our most common requests.
Q: Can I get my image retouched?
A: Yes, of course, we offer professional retouching on your final image selection(s).
Q: Can you provide a makeup artist for our photo shoot?
A: Yes of course. Rates and scheduling are subject to the makeup artist’s availability.
Q: What other corporate photography services do you offer?
A: Corporate Event Photography, Annual Report Photography, Holiday Party Photography, Golf Tournament Photography, and Fine Art Photography for use as corporate decor or unique gifts.
Q: What advice can you give regarding wardrobe?
A: Most men look great wearing a suit jacket, solid-color shirt, and a not too flashy tie. Women should avoid wearing overly patterned blouses, flashy jewelry and sleeveless tops.
Q: Any other advice for looking great on the date of our portrait?
A: Get lots of sleep and stay well hydrated. Believe it or not, it’ll show. Men also should avoid shaving within a couple hours of getting their corporate portrait taken.
Q: How often should I get my headshot updated?
A: We all know someone who still likes to use their portrait from the 80′s. My advice, don’t wait nearly that long. Ideally, you should get your business portrait updated every 3 to 5 years.

A: We can provide on location corporate portraits nationally, however most of our corporate photography clients are located in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland
