the Giants Causeway

Image of two people walking along the Giant's Causeway in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

The Giant’s Causeway is an amazing geographical wonder found on the Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland.  It’s famous for the roughly 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns that rise out of the sea floor like something out of the arcade classic, QBert.

During the day, the Giants Causeway swarms with tourists.  But come evening time, the crowds disperse for dinner, leaving the patient few with ample opportunity to explore and photograph to their heart’s content.
